West Virginia's Promise Mini Grant
West Virginia’s Promise, in conjunction with Volunteer West Virginia, is happy to announce the availability of mini-grants to assist Nonprofit community-serving organizations including schools. The goal of these mini-grants is to help organizations provide one or more of the Five Promises to children and youth. Eligible organizations may receive up to $500 to help carry out a community service project or event.
Examples include: Youth Mentoring Youth, Increasing Parent Involvement, Greenhouse Education, Community Service Projects, Education on Healthy Choices; Nutrition, Drug Prevention, and Dropout Prevention.
Five Promises
Mini Grant projects must address one of the Five Promises, which include: Caring Adults, Safe Spaces, A Healthy Start, An Effective Education, Opportunities to Help Others.
Important Dates
- Applications will be accepted through May 6 ,2022.
- Organizations will be notified by email on May 20, 2022.
- Qualified projects must be completed by July 8, 2022.
- The mini-grant final report and invoice must be submitted on or before July 22, 2022.
