Governor's Service Awards  ​
Presented since 1995, the Governor’s Service Awards honors individuals and groups that exemplify outstanding dedication to volunteerism and community service in West Virginia. Any individual, organization, group, family, or business in West Virginia actively engaged in voluntary service benefiting the state may be nominated.​​​ 
The awards are administered by Volunteer West Virginia. A volunteer review committee reads and selects the recipients based on achievement, community needs, continuing involvement, innovation and impact of service.​ 

Nomination Form 
Nominations for the 2023 Governor's Service Awards will be released in January 2023. The nomination form will be posted on Volunteer West Virginia's website. 

Award Ceremony ​​
Individuals and groups that are selected as recipients will be honored at a special ceremony at the Culture Center on June 15th, 2023. ​
