How Volunteers Have Helped During COVID-19
June 23rd | 1PM - 2PM
Are you interested in volunteering during an emergency? Learn how CERT volunteers have helped West Virginia communities during COVID-19.
During this webinar Volunteer West Virginia will interview CERT volunteers from Beckley, Clay and Hardy Counties. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
