AmeriCorps State Competitive Funding
Volunteer West Virginia announces a funding opportunity through AmeriCorps State Competitive Funding for eligible applicants. Potential applicants will apply to operate an AmeriCorps program solely in West Virginia utilizing at least 20 AmeriCorps members.
How To Apply & Instructions
- Applications are due no later than March 9, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Successful applicants will be notified by mid-June 2026.
- Successful applicants will be issued awards by mid-August 2026.

Volunteer West Virginia provides training and technical assistance including courses on writing AmeriCorps grants. Please reach out to
americorps@wv.gov to request support prior to beginning an application.
