About The Monthly Training Series
AmeriCorps service in West Virginia is about more than the community you serve; it is also about your personal and professional development as a service member. We are happy to be offering monthly development opportunities to AmeriCorps members. Certification Program

Attend 3 or more of these training opportunities throughout your service term and you will receive a WV AMASE (AmeriCorps Member Additional Service Experiences) Certificate. Accompanying this certificate will be a gift and letter from Volunteer WV explaining the nature of the professional development training series and how your attendance went above and beyond the call to serve. There are tiered levels of the WV AMASE Certificate.

  • Bronze Level: Attend 3-4  trainings in the series
  • Silver Level: Attend 5-8 trainings in the series
  • Gold Level: Attend 9+ trainings in the series

For those beginning service in the Spring, sessions you attend will carry over into the following Program Year for you to receive a certificate, if desired. Each session will be recorded and available for those not able to attend the live session.

Following each session, each attendee will be required to complete a reflection and feedback survey to count the training toward the certificate. Recordings of each training will be available.
