About
Do you want to help a kid succeed in school? Protect a national forest? Or help a family rebuild their home after a devastating disaster?  When you join AmeriCorps, you use your energy, ideals, and talents to help others. Plus, you’ll earn a living allowance, money for education, learn to be a leader, and gain real job skills.

AmeriCorps engages more than 80,000 Americans in intensive volunteer service each year. Members serve at local non
profits, government agencies, and faith based organizations.

A year of service can help you build your resume with valuable experience whether you are just entering college, starting your career, or looking for a way to give back at any point in your life.
